Handcrafted Harps made in Devon

Our handcrafted harps

Made from solid selected hard woods using maple, mahogany, walnut and cherry, no inferior timbers such as beech or plywood etc are used for the necks. Therefore there is no requirement for stain finishes, and the natural beauty of the timbers are allowed to shine through.

The combination of steel wound bass strings, carbon fibre and nylon, give a powerful and sustaining ringing sound.

Terry uses a choice of materials for the soundboards, including solid cedar and spruce. These timbers are specially selected for slow growth, having a minimum of 25 growth rings to the inch. They are 100% quarter sawn for stability and sound.

Camac levers and tuning pins are fitted as standard on all of our harps.

Each harp is finished with decorative inlay bandings and LED lights as standard. Terry can fit pickups for additional amplification and decorate the soundboards with flowers, celtic motifes or something of your choice.
